THE HUMAN DIMENSION OF THE LANDSCAPE
Pictorial exhibition by Stefano Buonavita and Giovanni Di Rosa

Complesso monumentale Carcere borbonico

11 to 25 february 2023

Exhibition rooms

The FAI Delegation of Avellino, in collaboration with the Irpino Museum, is organising the exhibition of paintings “The Human Dimension of the Landscape” by Stefano Buonavita and Giovanni Di Rosa. The paintings will be displayed in the exhibition rooms of the Irpino Museum, in the evocative location of the Carcere Borbonico in Avellino, from February 11th to February 25th, 2023.
In an age where the measure of human actions has lost the ability to investigate the environment and landscape in which we live, the two artists have outlined with their artistic and conceptual vision the delicate relationship between man and landscape, man and nature, man and the city.
The exhibition will start on Saturday, February 11th at 5 pm, to experience the museum environment in a different way: Giovanni Di Rosa will also be painting live to create one of the works that will then be exhibited at the museum. All this will be accompanied by the ambient musical notes of Alfredo Perrotti and Fabrizio D’Andrea

The exhibition will be open during museum opening hours:
From Tuesday to Saturday
9 am – 1 pm (last admission 12.30 pm)
4 pm – 7 pm (last admission 6.30 pm)
