On Saturday, May 20th at 7.30 pm, the exhibition rooms of the Irpino Museum will host the theatre performance Tacer cantando. Poesie e monologhi di Pier Paolo Pasolini by the Teatro d’Europa.
This play represents the final stage of the project Pasolini l’origine e il sacro. Laboratorio teatrale e non solo that started in November 2022 with the aim of celebrating the artistic genius of Pasolini.
The audience will experience an unusual theatre performance moving through the different sections of the Irpino Museum at the Bourbon Prison Monumental Complex. The play will celebrate the impossible love between Maria Callas and the Roman director, screenwriter, actor and playwright Pier Paolo Pasolini through poems and monologues.
The event is curated by the Teatro d’Europa and promoted by the Province of Avellino with the Technical-Scientific Coordination of the Irpino Museum and the “S. e G. Capone” Library.
