On Friday, March 17th, on the occasion of the 162nd anniversary of the Unification of Italy, the Irpino Museum will organise a guided tour of the Risorgimento Section. The audience can also enjoy theatrical performances based on “Il soldato di Gaeta” – The Soldier of Gaeta by Ferdinando Russo, a Neapolitan poet who lived between the 19th and the 20th century.
The theatrical guided tour will take place in the rooms of the Irpino Museum and will be accompanied by a narration of the military adventures of the soldier, who, mutilated in one arm, spent the last moments of his life in a hospital.
The play will be performed by Angeloantonio Aversana and the group “Briganti in… canto”, with the participation of the “Parthenope Rinasce” Association and the students of the State Institute “Archimede” of Naples.
