IRPINO MUSEUM
Since 2016, the Ministry of Culture has been promoting the Music Festival throughout the Italian national territory.
On June 21, the day of the summer solstice, music spreads on streets, squares, courtyards, cloisters and even places not usually used for entertainment, in a celebration of every musical genre, modern or classic, which mobilizes music schools, conservatories, associations, orchestras, choirs and bands. The Music Festival represents a moment of strong aggregation in the Italian social fabric that strengthens the values of citizenship at the local level, improving and fostering a positive relationship between citizens, organizations and administrations.
The 2022 edition, with the theme of “Recovery Sound Green Music Economy” is characterized by the aim of restarting the music sector through particular attention and respect for the environment.
The Irpino Museum will participate in the Music Festival with an exhibition, readings aloud and a concert in the evocative internal courtyard of the Palazzo della Cultura.
